Profile: Reginald Massey
He took MA (English) in 1959 and joined the faculty under Professor S.P. Sharma who was then the Head of English. Later went to France to study Journalism.
He worked in London as a journalist writing for leading dailies such as The Times and The Guardian. Later he became Chief Sub Editor of Metal Bulletin, the oldest publication of the steel and metals industry.
He has published several books in the UK covering cultural travel, music and dance, fiction and poetry. His latest book is 'SOUTH ASIA: Definitions and Clarifications' first published in London and now out in an Indian edition from Abhinav of New Delhi. Amazon.co.uk markets his books worldwide.
His wife is actress Jamila Massey, well known in TV serials such as 'Mind Your Language', 'EastEnders', 'Coronation Street' and 'Jewel in the Crown'.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
